We are going to focus on the sacrifices.   There are many ways to look at the sacrifices.  Thought:  God knew Adam and Eve would sin, Cain continues the process, and this continues all throughout the Bible.  It seems there is a problem with the offerings Cain and Abel brought.  Is it an offering or a sacrifice?
